As a part of its ongoing efforts to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on the anti-doping landscape worldwide, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) wishes to provide clarity to athletes and other stakeholders regarding the status of SARS-Cov-2 vaccines relative to the List of Prohibited Substances and Methods.

(Ottawa, Ontario – December 21, 2020) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) assures athletes that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 (SARS-Cov-2) vaccines that will be administered in Canada do not contain ingredients that are on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) Prohibited List.
