Financial contributions, donations and pledges help support Team Trinidad and Tobago (TeamTTO) athletes as they pursue excellence and their Olympic dreams.

The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) extends its appreciation and thanks to the members of the public, and corporate Trinidad and Tobago for their continued support for the Team TTO 10 golds24 athlete welfare and preparation fund.

The Fund provides important financial support to T&T's Olympic and Commonwealth athletes.

2015 Pan Am and Para PanAmerican Games and 2016 Rio Olympic and Paralympics medal bonuses were paid out of the fund.

The TTOC in the lead up to the Rio Olympics provided direct financial support to a number of athletes preparing for Pan Am and Olympic qualification and Games preparation.

The TeamTTO 10 golds24 athlete welfare and preparation fund , Olympic solidarity and Pan American Sport Organisation (PASO) athlete specific funding are paid directly to the athlete or on their behalf.

On going fund raising is a requirement for the sustainability of the athlete welfare and preparation fund.
The TTOC's participation in the Trinidad and Tobago Marathon (Walkers Category) is a key fundraising initiative.

The TTOC a non government, independent ,autonomous volunteer organization is not funded by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.

Established in 2015, the Marathon Walk fundraiser is one such initiative.

TTOC president Brian Lewis is the captain of the Team TTO 10golds24 Merry Marathon walkers.

Editors Note: The 35th Trinidad and Tobago International Marathon (TTIM) is on Sunday 29th January.

The 26.2 mile journey starts at the St Mary's Junction, Freeport.

The walkers division begins at 3:30 am. The marathon runners set off at 5am. Marathon relay shortly after the runners are sent off.

At the finish line at Whitehall Queens Park Savannah. The TTIM organisers will host "Sunday Breakfast at the Marathon Village."
