This country will play host to the 59th Senior Caribbean Regional Table Tennis Federation (CRTTF) next year, the fourth time it will be hosting the event after doing so previously in 1996, 2002 and 2006.

The confirmation was made when the CRTTF held its annual general meeting during the ongoing 58th CRTTF Championship in Santo Domimgo, Dominican Republic on Monday.

T&T won the bid at last year’s hosting of the meeting during the 57th CRTTF in Martinique and on Monday it was confirmed by delegate Ian Joseph, the national team manager while the reserve host is Jamaica.

Jamaica has been confirmed as host for the Mini & Pre-Cadet Championship with the reserve host as Dominican Republic, while the Cadet & Junior Championship will be held in Guyana with Cuba as reserve.

The following countries made bids as hosts for CRTTF Championships in 2018 Mini & Pre-Cadet Championship—Curacao, Cuba and Dominican Republic; Cadet & Junior Championship- Jamaica and Dominican Republic; Senior Championship—Cuba and Dominican Republic.
